Excellent companion guide if you use it for DIY maintenance and simple repairs
Don't buy this expecting to do a full teardown of your Cobalt. I purchased this Haynes after borrowing both the Haynes and Chiltons from my local library. I noticed they were identical, except the Chiltons has more pages due to a larger font size and extra character and paragraph spacing.I really wanted a Haynes that covered the 2008-2009 Cobalt SS Turbocharged, but Haynes said they only write guides for cars that sell well. So they didn't plan to make an updated guide that covers 08-09.The Haynes is really intended for the average car owner that expects to do their own maintenance and intermediate-level repairs. Contrary to what the cover says, you won't find full instructions for every part of the car. The manual gearbox and limited slip differential have hardly a mention in the guide. The wiring diagrams aren't extensive but they cover some of the major areas of the car.I recommend buying this guide to have as a companion for your vehicle in the...

Incredible for the price
I bought this filter for my 07' Toyota Taco. It fit just as well as the one I bought from Toyota, yet it cost over 4 times less. It also seemed to be of similar construction quality, which doesn't say much, and in practice, seems to work just as well.

Perfect replacement for an 05 Tacoma
Bought one from the dealer and paid their outrageous price, then thought there must be a cheaper option... Amazon comes through again. This seems to be identical to the OEM one. Very happy. I will actually replace it more now that I can get cheap replacements. Fit my 05 Tacoma perfectly. Takes about 5 minutes to install.

Mediocre quality, but it gets the job done for a cabin filter.
I bought this filter for a 2010 Pontiac Vibe GT (same setup as any Vibe or Matrix with A/C - my car's fan motor even has a Toyota sticker on the side).The filter came as promised in safe packaging. For $4.77 it's an ok product, but the paper element is about 1/2 the thickness of the OEM filter element that appears to be a more clothlike versus cheap paper. It doesn't rattle up and down with air flow from what I can tell due to the new filter being about 1/2 inch too wide (left to right, not thickness) which pinches the filter in place. I rotated the filter to align the size and dimensions, but it's just a bit too big. Because it's a paper filter, the size isn't a major issue and the back right corner just squeezes in a bit to fit the filter element. Replacing the plastic door over the filter wasn't an issue.If this were an engine filter, it clearly wouldn't work and the low quality would have me scrambling to find a proper OEM filter.
